I think the problem is that many people (consumers) see a credit card as an extension of their wealth, and marketing and pressure urges them to spend more than they can afford. The mindset is &quot;if I can&#039;t afford it, I&#039;ll put it on my credit card&quot;, and that&#039;s obviously where the debt creeps in.

The aim has to be to change this mindset so that it is used to offset payments for a short time, and pay off the balance when you get your statement.</description>
